About
Milan Hunter first strummed the guitar at nine years old. He joined bands and played across Los Angeles, where he quickly picked up singing, bass guitar, and drums to make up for absent bandmates. Influenced by the scene surrounding him, he began writing songs in the seventh grade; slowly, his collection grew. Picking six of his favorites, he finished the entirety of Wave in a garage over his tenth grade winter break. Collaborating with creative partner Maximus Lee, they founded Bad Sandwich Records for the release of the EP. That summer, he began the recording for his first album, Wrong, which would release the following February.
On top of his personal projects, Milan Hunter has created original film scores for award-winning student directors. His first introduction to film music was in Solo, directed by Eze Baum. Hunter would go on to work with Baum in his films Cameraman and the Myth of Sisyphus. His work created for el Deseo, directed by Francesca Varese, would win the audience award at the WestFlix Film Festival for best original song. Hunter’s guitar work would be featured on the song Outro//Goodbye with collaborator Maximus Lee’s EDM duo im so sunsick. Hunter released his most recent single, Every Voice, on October 30th, 2026.
